Blessingway - the conscious baby shower

“Hello, little soul and welcome to the new chapture of your life, dear mom.”

You are pregnant and want to welcome the soul of your unborn child in the trusted circle of those who see, love, and support you. In the power of your circle, we welcome the soul of your child and honor your transition into motherhood. Or perhaps your life is expanding into the new dimension of being a multiple mom?

According to yogic tradition, the soul of the child enters the body around the 120th day of pregnancy. During these days, a Blessingway is particularly suitable to honor and celebrate both the mother and the child. However, the Blessingway ceremony can take place at any time. And honestly, I like to leave this form of "truth" to each mother, depending on how she perceives it.

Because you are your child's first teacher. And the lessons begin even while floating in the amniotic fluid. So let it bathe you and your child in the highest frequency, knowing that you are stepping into your responsibility, sovereignty, and total love. With every song, with each passing day, a little more—your body is now poetry.

The contemporary spirit of the times finally allows for more space to shed old performance and expectation pressures. With ease and inspiration, we honor the woman—as the master and protector of the earth and family, and ultimately; the bearer of a new world.

«Sisterhood - it's in the Giving, we recieve»

Friends and family are now more important than ever. With a Blessing Way, ALL participants are nourished. Because what is holier than the portal of birth? Whatever you give birth to and bring into the world. It is important to stand in self-determination, responsibility and sovereignty. You are the role model for change. You are the guardian of inner wisdom and you will pass it on to your child and thus to the world.

“The healing power when women gather”

Your highly intelligent system works interwoven with the very large, infinite system.  The circle closes and opens at the same time. As well as the swirl of hair on the baby's head is in sync with the swirl of the galaxy!

The turning of the Sufis, a movement that gave the Kundalini Yoga exercise the name Sufi circle, allows you as an expectant mother to feel the rotation of your child at birth.

The circle closes - and it opens new worlds. When women come together in a circle, a healing vortex is created for ALL those present. And it is into this channel, it is said, that the child's soul enters the body. It is therefore important to me to emphasize that your friends who live child-free also feel seen and heard at my ceremonies - the power this generates for you is immense!

We have learned so much to protect ourselves, now we want to open our hearts in a safe environment.

«Speaking of “safe space”»

Whatever your journey has been to this moment, tell me about it. This means I can provide you (or others present) with the best possible support and take sensitive topics such as losses, IVF and family challenges into account. I have studied and done a lot of trauma work myself and have a great understanding and knowledge of how to deal sensitively in such times. Or to put it poetically: "Even on the day of celebration, the flowers remind us what the tears were for."

«Since the beginning, it has always been you»

It is my wish that my work as a yogini, ceremonial and mother and friend - gives women the space to perceive and expand themselves in such a way that there is no longer any room for fake and conformity. That one can laugh or cry about the efforts and fears that such a deep transformation brings with it.  That we simply support, admire and celebrate each other - with every step towards the freedom and peace of our very own femininity.

How does our co creation work?

An unforgettable memory is the greatest gift!
Whether you want to gift a ceremony to yourself or to a pregnant friend, I look forward to hearing from you soon. A phone call is often the best way to discuss whether our visions and time availability align for collaboration.

The Mandala in My Space - Where and How?
Typically, I come to your home, a beautiful natural spot, or a rented space for the ceremony. (Yoga studios or other lovely spaces are suitable for this. I highly recommend the Elevate Yoga Studio in Zurich.) Going into nature to collect seasonal flowers, leaves, nuts, etc., is often seen as a meaningful preparation—a wonderful way to include dads and siblings in the ceremony. Ask at flower shops for "waste" items like rose petals. Let yourself be inspired by the season and the elements that define you as an expectant family.
Candles, crystals, photos of grandmothers, bowls for the elements—earth, fire, air, water—that we can use for the ceremony design are all elements that can hold meaning.
In the end, however, none of this is a necessity, and a simple ceremony can also fill hearts, elevate the mother, and welcome her little one.

What does a typical blessing ceremony look like?

Every baby, every mom is unique - so is your blessing
You should feel good and be able to enjoy yourself. Therefore, space also plays a big role. Garden, living room, yoga studio, wherever - it should be protective and uplifting. A ceremony can also be held for more than one pregnant woman.

YOUR WISHES ARE FIRST

Space of love and how we could fill it:
Laying out a mandala together (with flowers, natural finds) is a beautiful and unifying act. Gentle movement; Pranayamas (breathing exercises), mudras (nerve-stimulating hand positions), Mantras (chanted healing syllables from the ancient Indian language Gurmukhi, as well as English/German). However, the ceremony is not intended to be a singing event; rather, individual mantras can deepen the meditation. As meditation as an experience of calm, strength and connection. Sharing personal congratulations, transforming the past, making room for the new, In the circle of your loved ones, we honor femininity, the creative power, the mother of all existence.

This is how a typical process is structured:

  • To begin, lay out the mandala together around the birth candle

  • Opening and greeting in the circle

  • Very gentle yoga to arrive

  • Mantra/meditation for the child

  • Honor momappreciation

  • Ritual: Your lap flower

  • Distribute good luck bracelets

  • Ritual: Tunnel of Love

  • Ceremony lasts up to 2 hours depending on your wishes

The mom can also give away candles, which are lit for all her friends at the start of the birth - a sea of lights of support!

I would be happy to tell you more about the traditions and rituals in a conversation. I would be happy to respond to your wishes and preferences and work with you to create a very special and personal experience!
